Here is a poem that I wrote and presented to my friend on his retirement celebration

This is your moment to shine
Because time after time, after time, after time
You could have given up
You could have said no
You could have walked away from it all
When friends became few
And family didn’t understand you
You had it down on the inside
Success Breed success
You had it down on the inside
Always speaking life changing words
You had it down on the inside
Faith without works is dead
You had it down on the inside
 This is your moment to shine
You’ve given so much and so much of yourself to others
From time to time
Now this is your time to be honored and is a time for people to say thank you
A time to laugh and a time for this joyous occasion
No more 9 to 5 and 5 to midnight
This is your moment to shine
This is your  moment to shine
A new book to be written,  A new story to be told
A new Chapter, A new journey
A time to build new dreams and A time to build new hopes
A time to love and a time to embrace love
A time for new life and  Now is your time--Your time is now
